Marie, Michelle,and Mark,
We are so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. So many memories of growing up across the street and hearing Dick call to me mimicking Michelle Julie can you come over?
What a great sense of humor. I loved playing baseball in the front yard. He really instilled good sportsmanship in all of us. No matter how many times we would walk away crying when he called us out. lol He loved to tease, loved sports and had an infectious laugh. I bet he, Hardy, and Harry are telling stories and sharing a few good neighbor laughs right about now.
You all are in our hearts and prayers.
Julie,Doreen,and David Hoppenworth

Dick knew me since I was born. I grew up with Michelle, and we all played at each other's houses. I remember all of the parties that we had at our house and Dick and Marie were there at almost every one of them. The thing I remember most about Dick was that he had the best laugh. It was the kind that came up from the belly and straight through the soul. It was a great laugh!! He and I also loved the Yankees!! I always would say to him that we needed to have a "talk with our boys" when they did something stupid, or lost games they should have won and he would agree, big time! The world has lost one of the good guys. I will miss you, Dick.
Love, Sherri
