To all of the Shannon Family; I swear POP was the happiest man in this world.Our first trip to Maine was following him over the hills of Vermont and N.H. to Old Orchard Beach- it was wonderful and we have been going every since. Pop and Poo-po have always been part of our lives when we were younger and lived on N. Street, those were good years---.They were great people! Take care of Poo-po in these rough days ahead. when i was married to jr the thing i rember the most about pop was he loved kitty wells when popo was working on wensdays he would plat her records so loud so i could here them upstairs pop was quite a guy ididnt know any one who did not like him i though of him quite often over the years i am so sorry he is gone

These last few days have been the hardest days of my life. All i keep thinking is how unfair life can be. Pop was the most wonderful man i have ever meant.I remember all the fun we had every year in Maine riding on rides with him singing and yodeling. Christmas was my favorite day of the year spending it with pop. He was a bigger kid then the kids were. He just loved spending Christmas with his family. I miss him so much more then you can ever imagine. I love you so much Pop and I know we will meet again..

Hey Pop this is kacie. Remmeber last Saturday when me and grammey were staying up all night just to take care of you? I rememeber that. Remember all those times we went to maine and on saturday you said you couldnt sleep so i told you to remember your happy place which was us at maine walking down the beach and playing in the arcade? Dear Pearl and family. Both Nancy and I, Robin, Bruce-Mary and Jordan send our deepest condolences to you and your family at this sad time. Melvy played a very inportant part of our lives. He was one of the finest employees we ever had, always there no matter what, totally dependable and hard working. hey Dad,I miss you so very much already.I'm gonna miss you calling me "bobba".I will never hear that name again.Now I have lost the two most important men in my life,my father and my husband.but you are in a better place now.We are all gonna miss the happiness and joy you brought to everyone.You were always so happy and full of life.When we get sad ,all we need to do is think of you and all the wonderful things you did and said through the years and it should put a smile on our faces.I have a lot of happy memories and I will always cherish them.Now that you are up in heaven where you can see all,could you look down on Mom and try to look after her and try to put a little smile on her face.She misses you so much.You two had so much love for each other.She needs something to hold onto.We will all help her as much as we can.Gonna leave now.but I will not say goodbye,that is too final.I'll just say"see you later"when it's my time.I love you very much,Barbbobba
