I was so very sad to here that Bonnie passed away. Bonnie and my mom Kay (Smith) Owen were the best of friends in high school. She was so kind and supportive when my mom passed away. I hope they are up in heaven together giggling and carefree just like they were in high school. My condolences to the family. xoxo

Bonnie and I met through AISE and shared lots of laughter, and a few tense moments watching our students over those long nights in Florida, Washington, DC and New York. But there was always room for laughter, a twinkle in the eye, and shared comraderie. After we all left the company, we reconnected through rods with Friends.,so much fun to catch up. I was thrilled when she found love again in her last year's and knew that Bonnie was so happy with Joe, her boys and her grandchildren. May her memory be a blessing to all.

I became acquainted with Bonnie when I was a young lawyer and she was the Administrative Assistant to Judge Mario Albanese. Later, as the District Attorney I would see her almost daily as our offices worked closely through heavy criminal caseloads. She was smart, efficient, professional, and pleasant to work with. Mario was lucky to have her, and he knew it! We became reacquainted in the Attorney General's Office when I became the Deputy Bureau Chief of Prosecutions and she was the Office Manager for the Organized Crime Task Force. We worked in the same office for 4 years. Bonnie was well respected by the attorneys, investigators, and support staff for her efficiency, professionalism (I cannot use that word enough), and ability to work under pressure. More than that, she was a friend to all of us. She had a sense of humor that just made it nice to be around her, even during intense moments, and there were many. If there were birthday lunches, retirement dinners, or other office social events she was usually the organizer. Bonnie and I would often reminisce about our Fulton County days. It is a shame we that cannot reminisce about our Attorney General days. The family and friends of Bonnie Crocetta can be proud of the service she provided to the people of Fulton County and the State of New York. She was a real PROFESSIONAL.

To the Lent, Crocetta and Young Families...Deepest condolences to all of you because, each in your own way, you are mourning the loss of Bonnie, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and cousin. Bonnie was a beautiful soul and a long time friend who will stay in my heart forever. We always laughed ( and I loved her laugh) that she was 2 days older than me and our friendship began in the baby nursery at Nathan Littauer Hospital. Although we did not see each other much we always kept in touch with our xmas notes each bragging about our families and especially the grandchildren. Please know that we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers and Bonnie will always be with you no matter what.

Bonnie was a wonderful lady. I met her on our first trip when we went to NY WDC and watched over the Exchange Students with AISE. She and I connected and always enjoyed those trips and the ones to FLA. we spoke on FB when We connected after so many years. We all left the company together because we were all so close. I was so shocked to hear she went to be with our Heavenly Father. I am so glad she had someone who she married and fell in love with for the last years of her life. To her husband and. Its know that Bonnie was loved by so many people. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

I've known Bonnie most of my life. We were good friends though out the years. I was happy when I found out that Bonnie and Joe got together. One day Joe called me and asked me for an other person's phone number, but I told him to call Bonnie. How soon after that they got together I'm not sure. I will miss you Bonnie.
My feeling go out to Joe and the whole family

Cousin Bonnie always bravely took on babysitting for all 5 of us Aesch kids... for about 50c an hour! One night Mom and Dad came home to a huge sooty circle on the kitchen ceiling. She and my older brother Joe had been making popcorn for all of us on the stove and there was a grease fire. Bon and Joe quickly put it out and then were hurriedly standing on the counters and trying to clean it off the ceiling, to no avail. Mom and Dad were just glad we were alright.
My Parents, (Aunt Betty and Uncle Henry), always spoke of how Bonnie was such a beautiful little girl with great big moppett eyes. Bonnie's mom (my Aunt Flora) had TB when Bonnie was very young, and so when Aunt Flora was in the sanatorium getting well (in Saratoga, I believe??) my parents loved taking 3 or 4 year old beautiful little Bonnie for ice cream.
I moved away to Oregon years ago, but Bonnie would always call me to keep connected, even mailing me boxes of books she wanted me to read, which cost a fortune! I flew to Florida to spend a week with her before Bonnie and Joe Lent found each other. Cousin Garry and wife, Gail, joined us and we had a ball.
When Bonnie met our great guy, Joe Lent, (our family is full of Joes!) the fun just amped up with Bonnie and Joe rv-ing to Phoenix to join us for a week and then later rv-ing to Oregon to stay with us! Everything was possible with those two-- never was any place too far to visit. How she adored Hubby Joe, sons Joe and Chris, and those grandkids. RIP, my Bonnie. Love and miss you so much!

I remember Dad and Bonnie's first date, Hair of the Dog band at the Parting Glass with Theresa and I. Bonnie was a very outgoing, friendly and easy to be around person. We didn't get to spend much time with Dad and Bonnie after they became a couple because they were ALWAYS busy and on the go, volunteering at the mansion, flea markets, garage sales, visiting friends (they had many), traveling in the RV, and cruising. They truly brought a spark of joy and contentment to each others lives that was obvious to everyone that knew them. Her passing is going to leave huge loss to all who knew her but to none more than Dad, Joe, Chris and their families. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May the many memories you have made together and the image of Bonnie's warm smile provide some comfort during these sad times.

Bonnie had a beautiful smile that would light up a room! I will always remember the fun we had in our travels, shared meals, and just hanging out. We always had a lot of laughs. Bonnie was a great cook and she made the best guacamole. She told me how to make it, but mine was never as good as hers. She was kind hearted, thoughtful, and always had a good word for everyone. She adored her husband Joe and her family. She was especially proud of her grandkids. Bonnie, you were so loved and you will be so missed.

Bonnie was my cousin, my friend, and my confidant. Early in my life, she would babysit my siblings and me. One time, we decided to make Jiffy Pop Popcorn and we started a fire! Bonnie quickly put out the fire, but there was still a lot of smoke damage. Bonnie was so happy that my parents didn't even get upset. We laughed about that for years! After Bonnie had Joey and then Chris, I would go to her apartment for the weekend to babysit. I was only about ten, but very responsible. One night, I was baking chocolate chip cookies and mopping the kitchen floor. Chris was is his diaper and he and Joey were crawling all over the floor while I mopped. Bonnie came home and laughed when she saw the three of us. She never let me forget that! Through the years, I loved hearing what Joe and Chris were up to and then later, what their kids were doing. Bonnie adored her grandchildren and talked about them all the time. She was so proud of them!!!! I was so happy when Bonnie connected after so many years with Joe Lent and became his wife. Now I see why that was meant to be. It was no accident that a wonderful person, like Joe, was chosen to comfort Bonnie to the end. Thank you Joe for making my cousin so very happy!!! I love you both!

As grandmothers to these two wonderful kids, we clicked. And every June, since Jillian was little, we sat together at the big dance recital. Some years Nicky sat with us, some years he was sitting in another part of the big auditorium, studying for his SATs. I couldn't tell which of the little dancing elephants or ballerinas or pixies or whatevers was our girl. I'd poke Bonnie. "Second one on the right," she'd say. Then a minute later..."Uh...on the left...?" and we laughed. We both brought candy to share through the long recitals. And a couple of weeks ago, we talked about how, this year, we'd be together for the culminating moment, when Jillian would walk across the stage as part of the honored graduating class, and have her moment, and we would have ours as proud grandmas. I will miss Bonnie there, and carry her with me in my heart.
