I am so very sorry to hear of Mel's passing. I worked along side Mel for several years at CFDS and could not think of a better mentor and friend. She cared so deeply for not only the folks that we serve, but for everyone that she worked with. It was good to know that when times were tough, Mel was going to be there to show you that ray of sunshine no matter the situation; and there wasn't a better fire drill partner to have breakfast at 3am with! Mel will be greatly missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family. I know how much she loved each and every one of you.

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Melody through her work at CFDS. She possessed such compassion, kindness and dedication to all she supported and will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. She was a true gift!

Mel's family, I was so sorry to here about the passing of Mel. I worked with Mel at the Center and she was truly a special person. it was apparent how much Mel loved her family. She lit up when she spoke about her babies.
