To the Bacon family,
I was so very sad to hear of Rita's passing. I was the evening candy counter girl at Britts and Rita did not work too far away from me. I always looked forward to the nights she was around because we always found plenty to giggle about!
My deepest sympathies.

You were my playmate and my schoolmate. We stood together in our green Girl Scout uniforms, our prom dresses, our white graduation dresses. You were next to me at my wedding. You were there when my children came and when my father left. Good-by my dear friend.

MY SHOCK AT READING THIS OBITUARY. SHE AND I WERE VERY GOOD FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS. SHE WORKED WITH MY BROTHER-IN-LAWSKIP ANADIOAT FINKLES. WHEN SHE MOVED AWAY, WE LOST TOUCH. WE DID VISIT HER THE FIRST TIME SHE MOVED TO MARYLAND IN 1992. WE WROTE FOR AWHILE THEN SHE STOPPED COMMUNICATING. WE WILL MISS HER GREATLY AS SHE WAS A WONDERFUL AND LOVING PERSON THAT I WILL CHERISH HAVING KNOWN HER. WE BOTH HAD A COCKER NAMED BUSTER AND SHARED THAT CONNECTION. MY HUSBAND & I SEND OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY'S TO THE WHOLE FAMILY. UNFORTUNATELY I CAN'T MAKE THE FUNERAL BECAUSE I AM DISABLED BUT OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU ALL.

Rita & I went to school together, sharing many classes & homeroom. After graduation, I moved away and lost track of many school chums. I was deeply saddened when I read the obituary. It sounds as though Rita lived a very happy & successful life; not surprising. I always remember her as quiet, soft hearted and full of life; always smiling and ready to please. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. May God Bless Rita & her family.

To The Family of Rita Bacon:
My deepest sympathies go out to you. Rita and I were classmates and she was a good friend to me throughout middle school and high school. My fondest memories of Rita were the many sleepovers we had as Y-Teen members. Rita was always very easy going and fun to be with. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I pray that your fond memories of Rita will bring you comfort during this difficult time.

To all of Rita's family:
My heart is broken at the loss of Rita. We were friends since we were 4 years old on Getman St. She was one of the most beautiful inside and out people I have ever known and although we had not kept in touch recently like we should have I will miss her dearly. It is so ironic that her funeral is on Saturday, one year to the day of my mother-in-laws funeral reception which she attended. We spent time together laughing about old times and I will cherish that last day I spent with her always. May you all find comfort in your fondest memories of your wonderful sister. My prayers are with you all! Sharon & Mark Autilio

My deepest sympathies go out to Rita's family. Besides being a college roommate, she was a good friend. Her generous spirit and good nature was an example for all of us to live up to. She made us better people. Rita was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed. Love always, Cathy
