Obituary of Louise Naiman
Louise Naiman, age 62, of Gloversville passed away on Thursday October 14, 2010 at Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville.
She was born in Gloversville, NY on May 14, 1948 the daughter of the late Joseph and Celma Bernstein Naiman.
Louise worked for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for many years.
Louise was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Knesseth Israel Synagogue in Gloversville for several years.
She had many hobbies such as baking, canning, quilting, knitting, sewing and crocheting booties.
Louise is survived by her two sons, Shaun Johnson Melissa of Schenectady, NY, Joshua Johnson of Boulder, CO, a granddaughter Eliana Johnson, a brother, Stephan Naiman of Palm Harbor, FL and a sister, Ann DeRidder of Sarasota, FL.
Additional survivors include: several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday October 17, 2010 at the Knesseth Israel Synagogue, 34 East Fulton Street, Gloversville. Interment will follow in the Knesseth Israel Cemetery. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Louise to the Lousie Naiman Cancer Awareness Scholarship, c/o Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078 or to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
