Shaun, I'm so sorry it took so long for me to respond. Your mom and I had many good times and laughs through the years even in high school. She had a very special sense of humor. I am so sorry for you and your brother.May those fond memories you hold be with you forever. She adored you kids and was a mom to be proud of. I was Mrs. Lunman or Mrs DeSalvio to you. Now I'm back to my maiden name Hill

Dear Shaun and Josh - I have only today learned of your mom's passing and I am so saddened to know that my dear friend is no longer here. We worked together at DEC and attended many trainings and women's outings and I can attest that she was the one to always laugh, put a smile on our faces and make everyone's day. She will be so missed.I always tried to catch up with the news of you all and she was so blessed and so happy when she told me of her granddaughter's birth. I hope the dear memories and words of condolences will ease your pain. She was a very special lady.

Dear Family,
Louise had a rare gift for making those around her feel "welcomed" and comfortable. I always admired and appreciated her selfless leadership at K.I.S. but sadly never told her. She was special.

Shaun,Josh, Ann & Family,
Louise was probably one of the most giving people I have had the pleasure to know. She loved life, always had a funny joke or story to tell and made everyone feel welcome in her home. We had many good times together. Her holiday party, a hot afternoon by the pool. What fun. She is the heart of so many memories. She will be sadly missed. Stay close, hug each other tight. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, mother in law, grandmother and sister.
Louise and I attended GHS together and worked on all of our class reunions together. I will never forget the "women's" reunion that she organized almost single handedly at Harold's Restaurant.
In the past few years we had drifted apart and I really missed contact with her - I don't know if it was her illness that kept her from reaching out or what but I am sorry that we lost contact. I knew that she was ill but I guess I didn't realize just how ill she was. I know that she will be missed by all who knew her and I know also that she was extremely proud of her children and all that they had accomplished in life.
May she rest in peace and may you have many memories to share and by sharing those memories with each other you will keep her alive in your hearts. Once again, my deepest sympathies to her entire family.

At the Northville office of DEC, Louise was the cheerful mother of us all though when it came to cleaning up the break room, she reminded us she wasn't really our mother. She was the one who remembered everbody's birthday, made us a cake when we reached 50, organized the office picnics, and decorated for every season. I don't remember a day when her laughter didn't ring through the building. We'll always remember her with a smile.

Such a light she was!
Even on a bad day,
she could make me smile.
Her courage shone like a beacon,
her laughter even amid pain
warmed my heart.
Even from beyond,
the echoes of her smile
can still reach me
in a quiet moment,
as her spirit rejoices,
free at last.

Shaun and family,
Sending my deepest condolences during this difficult time. Your mom was a wonderful lady. Every year like clockwork I would get a phone calling from her saying "Johnny I am making potato pancakes come on over and get some". I am going to miss that phone call and her smile and positive outlook. My deepest sympathies.
