Sandy and I send our prayers and sympathy at the passing of Uncle John. As my godfather and friend in my youth, he will be greatly missed. I will always remember as a child he let me sit in his Snack Bar and he made sure everyone knew I was his nephew and was to be treated as such. He made me feel important. I loved him for that. God bless and receive him

The last time I saw Uncle John was in 1966 when I was in Amsterdam after graduation from High School here in Red Bluff. I remember him as a wonderful uncle who helped me earn a few dollars at his snack bar when I couldn't get back home due to an airline strike. My family: Bob, Linda, Brian and Morgan send sympathy and respects to Barbara, Mary Lou and their families.

Beck and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle John, by far one of the most interesting people in our family. I remember that wonderful summer of 1958 when I came "home" to Amsterdam and lived with your family. Uncle John, Aunt Agnes, and Mary Lou kept me busy with many new adventures. He was always so kind and generous with me. He lives on in my memory. Love - Jeff and Becky
