To all the Adelman children, grand-children and GREAT grandchildren:
I have known Ruth for over 65 years and she has always been a real lady with me. At age 5, when I asked her what I should call her( expecting Mrs. Adelman), she said without hesitation, 'Ruth'. Plain and simple. My mom was taken aback when I went home to tell her about my new friend, Diane, and her mom, 'Ruth'.... I looked forward to our short conversations by phone, which occurred more often when Diane got sick..and then passed. She always thanked me for keeping in touch. I would never have let that connection end...I will miss her and our mutual connection through Diane for all those years. So sorry for your loss....

Dear Glenn and Margaret,
My sympathies to you both on the loss of your mother and my cousin Ruth.
She was one of my most favorite cousins in the Cramer family, and on occasion was my baby-sitter when I still lived in Amsterdam.
Her father Sam, and my father George were partners in the S&G Cramer Co., our families were very close. We both had our cottages at Sacandaga Park - and we spent a lot of time together. I loved playing golf with Moe on the 9-hole golf course across the street.
I remember when your mother graduated Cornell University, she was my hero!
Although I am in contact with Eleanor, I somehow never saw Ruth since we moved to Montreal in 1948. I used to visit Moe when he ran the grocery store in Broadalbin. I would love to stay in touch with you - if you are ever come to Montreal, you would be my guests.
Ask Eleanor for my contact info.
Again, my sympathies,
Alvin Cramer Segal.
