I had the great privilege to teach Dan in high school. I am so sorry he is gone. I was always impressed by his positive attitude and solid effort. He truly was a good-hearted soul. There is no doubt he made the world better.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I didn't know Dan very well but- I would see him every week at the bank where I work. He was a very nice, respectful young man and I looked forward to seeing him. His smile will remain with me forever. When he spoke of Rosie you could tell how much he loved and respected her. This world has lost a very special young man. RIP

Dan was a friend of my daughters and a huge group of kids she knows and they are all just heartbroken by losing him. My heart breaks for them and for his family. I worked with Mary Cullington for a short time and she spoke so fondly of Dan. I will keep you all in my prayers. God Bless and remember you will be with him again one day.

I last saw Danny in April, when he came to Delaware to share memories and time with our family when we lost my niece. As a child, he was always such a sweet boy, and I was struck by what a warm and loving young man he had grown to be. I cannot even express the depth of my sorrow to his loved ones, especially his parents. Losing someone so young in such a tragic way has got to be the hardest thing in life to bear. I will remember his warm smile and easy laugh. And I will always keep him in my prayers.

I remember when I first met Dan I'm Rosie's cousin. My son thought he was his daddy because they kind of looked alike and he wanted to be around him the whole time. Rosie and Dan weren't dating at the time, but it was obvious to everyone that they would fall in love eventually. I'm glad to have met him and will keep the family, and my family in my prayers. I will never forget the time when I went over to Rosie and Dan's place and Dan wanted Rosie to show me this game "worms" so bad.. he said it was such a good game saying "rosie show her the game show her the game!".. "its all about the strategy kim!" .. Meanwhile im saying "Dan, this game is stupid".. he was soooo excited and so determined to prove me wrong.. Dan was definately one of the brightest and most funloving guys I ever met! I may just have to find that game for you Dan! I work for the company that Dan did. My brother also worked with him in the warehouse at Quandts, and my son played softball with him a couple of summers ago. A very nice guy, and he will be missed. May he rest in peace, and may your family be comforted knowing that he is now with God.

Dan was a great kid with a good sense of humor. He simply had a way of making someone laugh or smile. He would always do something goofy to get a smile if somebody needed a cheering up. I remember him giving me a coupon when he worked at Pizza Hut when I didn't bring enough money. He was a very kind person.
