Clarence did a wonderful job in replicating a fireplace for us when we lived in Broadalbin, NY. I will never forget what a kind gentleman he was and worked very hard. Condolences to his wife Pat whom I knew growing up in Amsterdam.

Dear Pat,
I am very sorry about your loss. Chris indeed made an impact on the people he encountered and the property he touched. He was more than a skilled craftsman, he was a great human being. I feel privileged to have known him.
I feel badly about not attending the wake or funeral. I first heard of Chris' passing this morning at St. Mary's Church.

I met "Mr. Masto" through my job at the Lowe's Commercial Desk. I left there over a year ago. Luckily, I did happen to see him a few times since then and it was wonderful to see him. There are few customers who truly touched my heart and became dear friends and he was one of them. He was a kind, sweet, caring man. He put a smile on my face the instant he walked into the store. He was always smiling,too ...and he made sure he had a "Masto" pen in his pocket just for me because he knew how much I liked them! He was the sunshine in my day.
We would talk about our families and he would always remember to ask me about things that were going on in my life. He was very proud of his children and loved his wife dearly. I remember him telling me about his daughter's wedding. His face lit up and his eyes sparkled. She was the "apple of his eye" -like my father and I.
I've missed him and thought of him often.I apologize for not knowing that he was so ill.Please accept my sincere condolences.

Mr.Masto was a second father to me. Anytime his daughter Val and I came up with a crazy plan, he encouraged us and made us feel like we could accomplish anything no matter how far fetched the endeavor. I just want to say to Pat, Val, Chris, and Jeff I am so sorry for your loss, but rest assured your husband/father was truly a great man and is now at peace looking down at you from heaven.
