Obituary of Timothy C. Ormiston

Timothy C. Ormiston, 59, of Fultonville, NY passed away December 15, 2010. He was born September 15, 1951 in Gloversville, NY to the late David C. and Naomi "Sue" Topham Ormiston. Tim was a life time resident of the Fulton and Montgomery County area, he was a graduate from Gloversville High School. He was a former employee of Somerset Industries in Gloversville, most of all he was known as an accomplished musician, he was a drummer in many bands though out his career in music. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Giants. His loving family includes his two loving daughters Kimberly S. Matthew Schmaeh Ormiston of Fonda, NY, and Tamara C. Todd Simonds Ormiston of Northville, NY a beloved grandson, Robert Carter; brothers Douglas Ormiston of GA, Rodger Ormiston of NE and Andrew Jennifer Ormiston of Caroga Lake, and as well as one sister Cindy Ormiston - Stumpf of Gloversville, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY 12072 at 3 PM. Family and friends are invited to visit from 1 until 3, prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Ferndale Cemetery, in Johnstown on Monday, December 20, 2010. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Music Cares in care of the Funeral Home office.
