Tim was way too young to leave us all! I first met Tim in late 60's & 70's when he was in the band with Don Dwyer..he used to play in Fort Plainmy hometown & at Canjo youth center. He stayed in touch when I went to Cali & when I was home in '78 he came to FP to see me. He was such a character & could always make me laugh. You will be greatly missed my friend! Love & Miss You Kim

Sending heartfelt sympathy to the Ormiston family. We were saddened to hear about Timmy's passing. Just seeing his face and saying his name brings back many memories of friendship starting in 6th grade
at Blvd. to celebrating in Bleecker before Tom and I moved to SC in '96. Tim blessed us with his talent, humor and friendship. I am a better person for having known him.

As a little girl, I remember being memorized by the fast beat and the speed of his drumsticks. The crowd would stop, stare and cheer him on! What a talent! All the Ormistons' have been great friends of ours and it's difficult to see our circle of friends leave us. My children and I send our condolences to all of the family. Fifty-nine is way to young to leave us, but there are a lot of people that will be there to greet him with a warm smile and big hug! RIP Tim

Dear Ormiston Family:
Please accept the Ambrosino Family's sincere condolences for the death of Timmy. My brother Mark played in bands with Timmy for years and it saddens me terribly that Mark Viscosi, Stevie DeSimone and other fine young men and musicians of that era have died so prematurely. I liked Tim very much, especially that "Devil-In-His-Eye" childishness he always had. I hope he didn't have to suffer a bit and wish you all peace from his memories....

My sincere condolences to Tim's family.
Tim and I were very close friends, playing in bands, road trips to Texas and Florida, watching many NY Giants games together and just hanging out.
He was a kind and gentle soul and always made me laugh.
I'll miss you brother.

My sincere condolences to the family of a wonderful man.
Tim and I shared many a stage in the 70's and 80's, as he was the drummer when I was the piano player in the "Bleecker Street Band" at the time.
Always a kind word, always a smile, always keeping everyone together and happy. I have many wonderful memories of the times that I spent with Tim, as I'm sure everyone who knew him, on or off of the stage, does as well.
Although you will be greatly missed, rest assured, that your spirit lives on in my heart and my music, and always will. Peace.

To all the Ormistons, we are so sorry and shocked to hear about Tim. I just said to Wayne, we haven't gotten a late night phone call from Tim lately. Tim was a great drummer and he sure could make you laugh. Wayne always says that when he played with More or Less Country that he was the adopted Ormiston. We will see you on Sunday. RIP Tim
