Edie would always come to all the rehearsals and gigs for the "Touch of Class" Which was a collaboration between my grandpa Gene Spritzer and her husband Sal. She cherished her friendship with our family as did Sal. And was always very warm. I remember that when my grandpa passed she and Sal were very caring towards me. I gave her all the great recordings they made together after Sal passed away and she was so happy to have those memories in her living room that she could listen to whenever she wanted. We loved Edie and her beautiful family she was a real sweetheart of a person. The Spritzer Family.....Marc, Jason and Alex

Edie- May you rest in peace. You were a very loving person and surely the best dressed grandma I knew. I will never forget the long shopping trips we had and of course your laugh that always brought a smile to my face. Forever in our hearts. R.I.P.

Edie may you rest in peace in the arms of the lord. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you. Whenever I think of you I remember you being the life of every family get together and always looking fabulous. My thoughts and prayers are with your son and daughter in law who took such good care of you. The sadness of their loss will always be but you left them with so many happy memories to warm their hearts. Ida's cookies, Patty's pool, shopping, shopping shopping. We have all been blessed to share in Edie's life.

Auntie, may you rest in peace eternal. I have only wonderful and humorous memories of my aunt who always brought a smile to anyone in her company. From anecdotes to my personal favorite of "changing" someone's name, which now became their "new" name. I also recall Auntie's passion for cooking and looked very forward to our Family Christmas Eve celebrations where she made some of the tastiest dishes to share with all of us. Even as she got "up in years" I was never surprised to run into her at some store finding her shopping for something or other! Auntie you will be missed but you will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

Dennis and Family,
Over the last few weeks, our family has spent a lot of time talking about Auntie Edie and what she has meant to us. She was always the first to laugh, even at herself.....especially at herself. She had a love for fun. A spunkiness we all admired and hope for the later years of our life to be. We were in awe of how meeting her was to love her. How she never took life too seriously but appreciated it immensely. Because of these memories we are sad.....but because of them we find ourselves incredibly grateful for the chance to have her in our lives.
We are praying that the brokeness you feel today is soon replaced by memories of the joy she brought your lives.
All our love,
Marlena Jeff Ben
