Sandy and I go a long way back to high school days at B.H.S. We have kept in e-mail touch through the years. When I lived in New York, we met in Manhattan and in recent years at the annual high school luncheon reunion. She was a very talented woman. Even when faced with her illness, she always maintained a cheerful and positive attitude. She will be missed. The flower that was once our own, is held now in God's hand. May His love see us through to brighter tomorrows. In His will is our peace. With deepest sympathy,

Sandy was one of our dearest and oldest friends and we are so saddened to learn of her death. Our classmate for most of our school years, we share many memories of boat club outings, high school classes, Sand Island overnights, sleepovers at each other's houses, sorority iniations, National Honor Society inductions, weekends at Springfield college and much more. Always full of fun, inquisitive, and a real student, Sandy was everything one could want in a friend. We hope those memories, like ours, will sustain you in the days ahead, and give you peace.
Love, Lois Ann and Phil

I am so saddened by Sandy's death. As a former classmate, Sandy and I shared many good times together, although we were never able to embark upon a trip we had planned since 7th grade to Sun Valley, Idaho. I was in correspondence with her and had planned a visit when we were in the area but were not able to see each other--the first time when her friend was released from the hospital in NYC and the next time I tried to contact her, I was not able to reach her. She was a beautiful, gifted woman with an indomitable spirit. May she rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

I learned so much from Sandy, teaching at UCP when I was fresh out of college. She was a wonderful, caring, dedicated teacher and she taught me so many things I could only learn on the job. We shared many laughs, family stories, and wonderful times. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Heaven has gained another angel. Sandy worked for me as an aide in my HFM BOCES classroom many years ago. She left employment there to pursue her Master's in special education. She was a wonderful, patient woman who had a great sense of dedication and commitment to all the children with whom she worked. Her wonderful reputation continued as she worked for UCP.I know that she was very proud of her own children as she would speak about them regularly with a great sense of love. My sympathies to her family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Sandy was a wonderful person and a first rate special education teacher. I loved her sense of humor and her devotion and care for her family.
