Dear Pat,
My heart felt gratitude goes out to you for being such a great partner with Dad over these past many years. We all loved him and I honestly feel he is still alive in all our hearts, each day.
I loved him and have such great memories of him from childhood up through adulthood. He will be missed by all but lives in our hearts.

At times of loss, words are difficult. I want to extend comfort to family members who have lost a loved one. A few words can comfort a broken heart, a personal memory can bring a smile to a tear-stained face. The assurance of friends can offer a hand to those who walk alone in grief. To my dear friends Ray and Connie my sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Mom & All,
Keith will always be a part of me and my Golden Retriever, Sadie. To Sadie, Keith was 'Grandpa'. She loved to visit Keith & Mom and continued to visit @ Well's House. Sadie always brought comfort to Keith,he'd pet her as long as she'd sit still. He loved being pulled by Sadie, wheelchair and all down the hallway, as Keith laughed and smiled all the way!
Keith was full of love for Mom and everyone he knew. He loved his John Deere 'ride on' lawnmower too. I always looked forward to receiving his homemade candles @ Christmas time. I thank God for knowing such a loving, caring, and kind man,my Bonus Dad.
With Love,
Lorraine 'Rain'& Sadie

Dear Pat; We rec'd the sad news from Jerry Whitehead today and share your grief and sadness. I know the past years have been difficult for you, but that you cared for Uncle Kieth with a love and kindness that is such a part of who you are. I will be returning to NY with my Mother in early April, and will be in NY for the summer and will try to reach out to you when I get there. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
With much love, Patty

My most vivid memories of Uncle Keith are from the ballgames played at our annual family reunions. The "younger generation" always over-estimated our talent, and underestimated Keith's and his brothers'. My father, Dick, and the other brothers, Bruce and George We would play the games with 10 or so players on our team, and 4 on theirs --- and get THRASHED! No reunion was complete without our annual serving of Humble Pie! Keith had a great sense of humor and had quite a way with words. He could sum up situations very nicely with a well-pointed sentence or two. He was a great source of family anecdotes, and actually was the one who introduced my father to my mother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dear Pat...Keith was definitely my favorite uncle. Whenever Keith came to Marathon to see us, he always played ball with all of us kids, and he never made us feel like it was an obligation. He always seemed to enjoy our games as much as we did. He would flirt with my mother to make us laugh, and we always made sure we stole a couple of his Kent cigarettes, and he never said a word, even though I am pretty sure he knew it. The world seemed a little emptier after he left and went on his way. My memories of Keith remain precious to me, as I'm sure yours are as well. Love to you...Bruce

Dear Mom & all,
Keithy will always be my Mom's soulmate! I knew from the moment we met, Keith was the right one for you, Mom. Keith's healing touch and larger than life energy will be in my heart forever. In 1977, Keith sang solo @ my wedding. It was a perfect 'You Light up my Life'. He'd only had dentures for a few days, amazing how he adapted so quickly! Keith had a wonderful singing voice, loved music, and danced ever so effortlessly. I'm thankful to have had Keith as my 'Bonus Dad'. He was always more than a step dad to me.
His comforting way of taking my hand or giving me a real big heart hug and telling me 'It'll be okay kiddo', this was the best gift of all. Thank you Lord for blessing us with Keithy.
With Love,
Linda

Dear Pat & Family,
You may remember me from when you and Keith would participate in some holidays at Connie & Jeffs or elsewhere. Keith was fortunate to have you in his life, both as a wife and a caretaker in the last few years.
Keith told great stories about his days in the Navy and enjoyed the people at such festivities. His love for Connie, Jeff, and you was evident to those in his presence.
Please accept my condolences at this difficult time.

Pat,
You probably remember me from the many gatherings we shared at Connie and Jeff's, especially at the holidays. I know how much Keith meant to you and what a big part of your life is missing with his passing. We always enjoyed his company, his ready smile and gentle nature. He will be missed but the best of him lives on in Connie, Ray and those whose lives he touched.
Sincerely,
Linda Cooper

My condolences and love to you Pat - you did such a wonderful job of taking care of Keith over all this time!
After my father passed away, Keith became and was like my Dad to me. We had many good times together and really enjoyed each others company. He was a great companion to have – we played golf, vacationed, shared great meals and stories and I will always miss him for the great times we had. In particular, I always admired his love and caring for Pat. He always looked out for her through the many adventures and difficult times they had and of course, always had an interesting story to tell about it. One of my fondest memories is when he escorted Connie down the aisle when we were married and another was when he took a running dive off the dock at our lakehouse at 80! I always enjoyed his stories and many of his jokes . . . well, most of them! I miss you Dad, and will always remember your support, your sense of humor but most of all, the love and friendship we shared.

Keith Whitehead was my dad. He was a wonderful singer. If you ever had the chance to hear him sing, you would have been impressed. Very Perry Como like but more adorable. He gave really great hugs. As a child, there was no one I loved more than my father. That love has continued throughout my life, even though I didn't get to spend enough time with him. But the time I have spent with him has been worth it all. He was a gentle man. He loved his birds and kitty cats. He loved his children, and most of all, he loved his wife. She was the love of his life. All of us know that without her persistent love and care, dad would not have lived this long. All my love and thanks go to you, Pat, because you gave me more time with him... and with you. I love you. I know dad is with us and I know he will visit quite often. And I know without a doubt, that he is filled with love and very happy to be Home.

Dear Pat and family,
I'm so very sorry for your and our loss of Keith…and also that words cannot, and will not, suffice here. You and he are loved, and all that he means to you is honored and held in my highest respect. I pray that God's love for you during this time may poke down between the clouds, so to speak, to reassure and comfort you time and time again.
