I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Wayne. We have not been close for many years, but he had started coming into the store almost every day, sometimes just to say hello and "catch up". Some of my happiest church moments when I was young was listening to the "May Boys" on special Sundays and extra special occasions at the Scotch Bush Church. I do know that he is in heaven and looking down on all of you and protecting you, celebrating the eternal life with Uncle Howard and Grandpa and Grandma May, Aunt Diane, Aunt Marlene and Mom. Sorry we can't be there physically, but are there in spirit and thought. So glad I had the chance to talk with you when up there a couple weeks ago. To the family, he's only gone for a while and we will all be reunited again. Grieve for our loss, not for Wayne. He's in a much better place. To all.. I have no way to be there with you physically during this incredibly difficult time, However, as you all know, I am with you spiritually and emotionally. I must say that Wayne, the few times I had the pleasure of being around him, had a pure and gentle spirit, to be sure. He loved his dear Mom and Dad and his family..so very much. He seemed to march to the beat of his own drummer, *smile*, a true May, indeed. Although your pain must be so intense right now for missing him, I feel the need to say that Heaven is a far BETTER place now, with Wayne in it!!! *smile*..He is on the first leg of the journey to the BIG May reunion, someday, in a place where there is no pain or sorrow, hunger or sadness...He is in the arms of Jesus with his Dad beside him, in a place where we will all be together again, through eternity..My love to you all..and remember ..."to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord"...Praise God...And dear Wayne, 'till we meet again!!!
