Hi, I knew Bob mostly as a Midway customer, but I also sold him horse hay from time to time, and had a connection to him through my son, Aaron, who works at the HFM Boces Alternative School. Bob genuinely was a nice and friendly and sincere guy. Although I didn't see him regularly, I always looked forward to it, be it to get cars inspected or repaired, or farm equipment tires fitted. We always caught up on what was going on when I did see him, but the last time was probably in November 2010. He told me then that his heart issues seemed to be pretty good, but that he had become worried about a lung issue. There was something about Bob that will make me miss him much more than the relatively little time we spent together would indicate. So, I am sure those really close to him will miss him immensely. If there is anything I can do to help you deal with his loss, please let me know. Sincerely, Doug and Kathy, my wife, who also knew Bob

My deepest condolances go out to you for your loss. He had worked on my and my mother's cars for years. If I hadn't moved away years ago he would still be my first choice if I had a problem. He was always an honest, friendly, hard-working individual. He will be missed.

Kim,
Bob treated all of his friends like his own brothers and sisters. To think of Bob in the past-tense rather than the future is almost impossible for me to do. The shock of his passing makes me feel as though a part of me has died, too. But, if that is true, then so is the opposite. A part of Bob will live on in everyone that he has touched throughout his life. May we all move on to happy and prosperous futures; and to achieve this goal may we never forget the past.
