Delores, Kristin, & family,
Growing up, weekends at my parents house were always fun, as all my Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins would arrive. Summers were fun with card games outside on the lawn, or down in the picnic grounds. But the kids also liked to play baseball. My Brother, Verle, and our cousins, made teams. I was too little, so I could only watch. Danny was a good player. I bet there's a ballgame in Heaven tonight. Danny was the first to take me on a horse ride, and I'll never forget trying to catch the pigs that got loose when we got back to the Bellinger farm, from the Cobleskill Fair. Aunt Grace & Uncle Bob let me go with their family. I think I was 7 or 8, so Danny would have been about 16. At the fair, Danny got picked to lay down & let the elephant walk over him. I think we were more scared than Danny.
And Danny made great hot-dogs at Tag's Pharmacy Car Show when Krissy & I worked there.
He was a Great guy & a hero cousin. I'm glad you shared his life and love.

Delores and Family-
I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you today and always.
A Candle
Sit down and light a candle
Watch the flame, a story it will tell
Bringing back secrets
of memories you know so well.
The flame will waver up and down
Reaching high and drifting low
It's movement will vary slowly
As the air begins gently to flow.
When the flame moves upward
It depicts the highs in our life
Then flicking low once again
Tells of occasional strife
A lighted candle brings back memories
Of yesterday's peace and joy we felt
Priceless memories live once again
As we watch the candle melt.
Light a candle and watch it burn
And reminisice as old memories return
Give thanks to God in heaven above
For all sweet memories of love.
May your candle flame high with happy memories of love.
