Hello I am Irene’s granddaughter Kelly Patty’s daughter. I just heard today of Uncle Eddie’s passing as my Aunt Debbie contacted me to tell me about my grandmother’s medical condition. I am so very sorry for your loss, Uncle Eddie was a great man I remember him fondly. I remember visiting him as a child. Through the years I saw him at parties and he always had a big smile on his face. He lived a long beautiful life and I’m sure he will live in your memories forever. My deepest condolences to his lovely family.

I lost my mom Delores to cancer 3/24/2015 and my dad Thomas 2/27/2016 from complications due to Parkinson's Disease. They both spoke highly of you, your mom, and dad.
Both us kids moved out of Ny 9 yrs ago...I'm in Nebraska and Tony is Las Vegas.

Dear Linda, Cynthia, and all the family. Dianne and I were saddened to hear about the passing of your father. I have many fond memories of him and your mother when we were all growing up together as neighbors on Austin Street in the '40s and '50s. Your dad and mom were always kind and welcoming. I can still picture his smile and warm personality as we ran around the yard, used the swings he had made in the backyard, and asked him about all the tropical fish tanks he had in the back building. The world was a brighter place because of him, and he left a legacy in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate to know him. Our sincerest condolences at this time of your loss. Words can never express the loss the family feels with Uncle Ed's passing. Family was most important to him and he worked hard to give them a good life and encouragement to the children to succeed . His place on Austin St. was my favorite place, the "playhouse", swings, and access to Sanford's farm for many years of fun.
He wrote my mom over the years, ( Aggie did most of the weekly writing) but when he did, his humor was always there. As a kid I remember his story telling and driving down Locust Av, with a car full of kids. He would have our attention to wherever we were going.
Even with his large family he found time for Grammy ( his mother) and his sister Florence in time of need. He also helped his father who lived in Detroit. He was there for everyone as his life story has shown.
My visits to Amsterdam will never be the same as I always looked forward to visiting Uncle Eddie and taking him to lunch.
On the bright side, he is finally with Aggie, Grammy and Flo and they will rejoice with his arrival.
Much love and sympathy to all my Kinowski cousins.

Dear Uncle Eddie,
I will always remember you as a gentleman with a lively sense of humor and a great sensitivity to the needs of others. Looking back over the many years, I recall your being a staunch family man, devoted to your wife, Agnes, and to your children. I remember the swing-set you build in the backyard on 3 Austin Street. It was a magnet for all the kids in the neighborhood.
I saw that you were not afraid of hard work doing whatever was necessary to support your family. I admired how you expanded your knowledge, learning to become an insurance agent and then establishing your own business offices. You always gave back to your community, and I was so proud when you became an alderman in the 8th Ward.
The quality of your character that most impressed me was the honor and respect you showed to your mother, Frances, and then to your father, Michael when he came to visit you after being estranged from the family for many years.
My dear Uncle Eddie, you are a man who has weathered the seasons of a 97 year lifetime with courage and have remained a man of faith.
The world is diminished by your passing and I will miss you.
Love always,
Your niece Gloria (Duran) Simpson

The Kinowski Agency was at the end of my street but we did not own a car. Cindy would pick me up to go to our classes at FMCC. I was grateful for the kindness and when bought a car, my Mom and I knew where to purchase insurance. That was 1972 and the service and friendliness has continued to this day (Grant and staff) due to Edward Kinowski's leadership. My sympathy prayers and love goes to all the family. I am donating to Operation Christmas Child, a charity for mission children in Ed's name. God bless you all. Phyllis Szurek

My Uncle Eddie was the best uncle in the world. So many wonderful memories from my earliest childhood. I actually remember at the age of 3 or 4 being present at his and Aunt Aggie's wedding and remember as well their anniversary celebration at the Auriesville Shrine 50 years later. He was a devoted brother to my dear mother, Florence Duran and a devoted son to my beloved grandmother Frances Kinowski. He gladdened hearts wherever he went. Here I am with him at his 95th birthday celebration in 2015. Joyce Stern

Dear Family,
Ed was the definition of a true gentleman. Every time I saw him even in his 90's he would give me a big smile and a kiss on the cheek. He lived a long and successful life with the love of his life Agnes.
May God hold him gently in his hands until you meet again.
