I have known Butchs wife for a good many years. I saw Butch here and there when I picked up my dogs from getting groomed. Butch was a very nice and gentle man. He loved and adored his wife Janet. I’m so Sorry Janet

Grandpa was the absolute best. When we would visit he was always welcoming and so thankful that we made the drive down to visit. He gave the best and biggest hugs would always walk us out to the car when we were leaving. Standing in the driveway waving us goodbye no matter the weather. Our hearts are broken that we didn’t get more time but will cherish the memories we have.

It’s with a great sadness to learn of the passing of my good friend Butch. He was a tremendous help to me when I was building my late model stock car to race at Fonda Speedway in the mid 1970s. Many good times for both and some great memories. Please know that you, Janet and the entire Austin family are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
