Leslie & Family - so saddened to hear about your Mom’s passing! My heart goes out to you…She was a special & caring lady - that’s for sure. I will always remember her smile & how quick she was to laugh. She was a great “aunt” to all of us and gave us many happy memories. I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Phyllis was like a second mother to me for many years when I lived across the street. Dear Uncle Jerry and family, please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of dear Phyllis. No words seem adequate to express my feelings at a time like this. Many years ago, I carried your wedding rings as your ring bearer when you began your life together, exemplifying what a committed marriage could look like. You provided an example of how to love deeply as the years flew by, raising a beautiful family. Phyllis was always so kind to me since I was a child. All the memories flood my mind as I write this. I remember her kindness and her great smile. A gracious host whenever I visited your home unannounced, as was my custom. The world will be a little darker place without her.
