Bev was a friendly, sweet lady whom I always enjoyed seeing. I'm sorry that she is gone now but I know she lives on in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a smiling, classy woman and I will never forget her.

Aunt Bev said she always included my sisters and myself as one of her daughters. I truly felt her love and care as another mother.
I have many memories of living in Gloversville as a young girl and having Aunt Bev as a very active part of my life. After we moved to Missouri, the summer I was 11 or 12, my mom sent my sisters and I on a bus for a visit. It was a wonderful experience sharing Aunt Bev as a "mom" with her kids. During that visit, we decided to go to grandma and grandpa Weir's house to swim in the lake. Aunt Bev and grandma would sit on the bench down at the lake and watch us kids swim. Only on this visit Aunt Bev surprised us and got in the water with us! I remember being so shocked that she would get in the water. Aunt Bev was always smiling and laughing. She was a gentle spirit with a giving heart. I will deeply miss her.

My dearest Aunt Bev. For half my growing up years you, were the only aunt I knew and have loved you so deeply. One of my favorite memories of you is when I "borrowed" you as a mom for my church mother-daughter luncheon. Since I'm a twin, I naturally shared my mom with my sister. I wanted my own mom that night. You gladly accepted the invitation & made my then 10 year old heart very happy. We had to plan ahead and bring a creation using only items found in the kitchen. There was a catch though. I had to be able to wear what we made! It was your fun idea to make a "hat" using a collinder, napkins & twist ties. Together we made the napkins into flowers & attached them to the collindar using the twist ties. Our hat was beautiful & bright! We shared a lot of laughter while making it. You made it so fun!

Linda, your mom was so welcoming when I stayed overnights in Jr. High school. And as you & I reconnected when you returned from overseas. You are the caring woman you are thanks to your mom. My heart felt condolences. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m so sorry to hear about Bev’s passing. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. When she was at City National, my daughter always waited in her line to see her. Didn’t matter if the other ladies didn’t have anyone else, she would wait. Years later we all met up with her again when she came to our church. We will greatly miss her. God has gained an angel for sure.
