Much sympathy to Roberta's family. She will be greatly missed. I knew her from church, Rosary society, and Ladies of Charity. She had the way about her, that when she walked into the room, her smile and laugher just livened up the whole atmosphere. I enjoyed her company. I knew I would have a good time (even if it was at a meeting) if I sat at the table she was at. Roberta had a great attitude. My heart is so sad that she is gone from this earth., but it's nice to know that She is resting in God's peace.

My heart is breaking over this news and I'm already missing hearing her laugh. Every good memory I have of Berta is either hearing her laugh or her making me laugh. I loved that she stayed close with my parents long after I had flown the coop and moved west; and she was my conduit to important news of the school friends we shared. Unreasonably, I had always anticipated this would go on forever.
Considering the hole in my life that she left, I can imagine the hole she's left in the lives of those who depended on her presence week in and week out. Please accept my condolences.
She and I are both convinced of an eternal life, and I am consoled by the joy she is now experiencing reconnecting with the mutual friends we've lost.

This is the third time I've clicked on this to try to write a condolence to Bert's family. I just cannot find the words to let them know how much she will be missed. I received a text from her last Friday to inform me of her condition and she closed with, Love you! That love was reciprocated and I repeat my response to her, Love you, too.
