Dear Dave, Louie, and Jeffrey.
I am sorry to hear of your father's passing. Of our Tremont and neighborhood baby boomer gang, whose father's served in World War II, I suspect he was one of the last remaining. I trust he was able to enjoy each of his 98 years in health, happiness, and with the comfort of you and your families.
He was a good, honest, hard working man who truly showed his love for you, and his caring for all of us. As children, when we wanted to play construction, somehow he found those cones. When we wanted to play basketball, he mounted the rim on your garage, and when we got hot, he set up the pool. Your mom would feed us, your dad would entertain us. Both kind, caring, generous people.
Your dad will be missed, as we all miss ours, but by his grace, he made our good old times better and he will fondly remain in our memories forever. Glenn Plaster

Jeff, Sue & extended Sala family,
So very sorry to learn of Zumps passing. He was so very friendly, funny, but most importantly he was exceptionally kind. Always willing to lend a hand and he always had a watchful eye for Alex as he made his long walk to our house from the bus. The world is a better place because he was in it, I give thanks to have known him and he will be genuinely missed. A donation has been made to the SPCA. Praying for strength for all of you.

Dear David,
My sincere condolences on the passing of your dear dad. I remember him from growing up as such a kind man with the sweetest smile. I always loved running into him now & then when I would get back home. My dad passed at 98 too, and even though they've lived a wonderful long life, surrounded by so much love it's so hard when they go. I hope you and all your family find comfort in knowing he's back with your mom, and may they both rest peacefully now.
Sincerely, Karen Bergen Tuman

Oh Zump, I don't even know what to say. No words seem enough. Who will call me Little Chickadee? Who will ask me what's for dinner everynight when I went in to say hi after work? You touched so many lives and I was so lucky to be part of yours.I will miss you so much. You were so loved.

Jeff and Sue, your complete devotion to caring for your father will remain unsurpassed. You made sure his days were full of comfort, good food, warmth, humor and lots of love. He was blessed to always have furry companions by his side at all times. From dinners out, camping, family dinners, to a Bahama cruise at the age of 96, you never let him sit idle. He was truly blessed and so was his family to have him. His mind was sharp and there wasn't anything he couldn`t fix. We all will miss the end of an era that will never be the same. Good speed Uncle Zump. We will forever miss you. All my love. Nancy Please give my love to Sam, Aggie and the rest of the gang.
