Dear Iannotti Family,
I am so sorry to learn that Professor Iannotti has passed away.
I am an FMCC alumni from Long Island and we exchanged
Christmas cards every year since 1976. He was a wonderful
person and his inspiration to me that I could accomplish anything
if I put my mind to it has always kept me on course.
May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
John Collins (FMCC 1976)

I had a office across from Professor Iannotti in the late 1980's. He was the most kindness man I ever knew at FMCC. Always a smile and a hello. He would peek in every morning and ask about my family. All the students loved him. He will be missed.

Fond memories of Mr. Gerald Iannotti.....he and FR. Pat go way back to memories of our family and his at ST. Joseph church in Amsterdam. I also had Mr. Iannotti as a professor at FMCC. He is the greatest. Later in life, I remember serving him as a patient, talking him through blood work. I so always enjoyed seeing him and Father Pat out and about. Our condolences to Father and family.

Mister Iannotti was one of my favorite professors at fmcc when I went there in the late 80s. He was a fine fellow, and my heart and my prayers go out to all who know and love him. Rest in peace, sir.

I am sorry to learn of Mr. Ianotti's passing. I was in the first class at F-MCC in 1964. I was a poor student in high school. The first test I took at F-MCC was English Comp from Mr. Ianotti. On my first college test I got an F-minus in Mr. Ianotti's class. It was the best thing that ever happened to me because, like turning on a light bulb, it woke me up. From that point on I started to seriously study. I ended up getting an A in his class and went on to earn a Ph.D. en-route to a 50-year career as an educator. It was that F- that completely turned my life around. Over the years I have frequently told that story to my students. I wish I had the opportunity to tell Mr. Ianotti that he had a great influence on me and helped me change my life. Thank you Mr. Ianotti, and rest in peace.
