I had known Bob for quite some time and he was a great friend and a great guy. He had an upbeat attitude and was always ready to lend a helping hand. I will miss our many road trips and lunches together with our buddy Dick Cocker. I treasured his friendship and will miss dearly. My sincerest sympathies to the Bradt family. Rest In Peace my friend. Maryrose, Mark, Jimmy, Stephen, Tommy, Gary and your families, I was so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. When I think of him, I think of all those LaBate family picnics that he and your mom and your families arrived early getting the “spot” for the picnic. If you were one of the earlier to arrive, you could smell the coffee in the air from breakfast. Bob and Maryrose always welcomed everyone with a great smile and hello. As I write this, I can smell the coffee and feel the connection of family that they both brought to us, not just for the family picnic but many times over the years, Bob and Maryrose were always there.
