Obituary of Brian Sonny Ward

Brian Sonny Ward, age 51, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at his home.

He was born April 10, 1970 in Gloversville, the son of Carl and Malvina Ward. He was a self-employed contractor most of his life in the Fulton County area. Known as a good, kind and loving person, he enjoyed playing basketball, camping, his dog Bandit, riding his four-wheeler and spending time with family and friends.

Brian is survived by two children, Shane Sonny Ward and Alexandra Gale Ward;  his mother, Malvina Ward; a brother, Carl L. Ward (Lynn); three sisters, Debra Kohout (Curt), Brenda Colson (Lee) and Robin Kronk (Kevin); as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Carl R. Ward; a brother, Dale Ward; and his life-partner, Linda Pharr.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Regional Animal Shelter 117 W. Fulton St. Gloversville, NY 12078.
