Mr Mike wasn’t just a custodian he was a friend of all the students. He would always crack jokes to raise the mood he was such a caring person. Besides cracking jokes he would tell us all about his motorcycle and sometimes he even brought it to school and showed us. If you were having a rough day at school Mr Mike was the person you wanted to see. I remember having conversations with him at lunch time asking him about his motorcycle and he was more than happy to answer any questions I had. My sincere condolences to his family. May He Rest In Peace.

Remembering my cousin Mike...
My cousin Mike...the oldest of the cousins I knew on my father's side....handsome and quiet. He was a delicate balance of just cool enough, but kind enough to hang out once a year with four younger girl cousins who didn't have a big brother. Mike and Brian gave us a glimpse into boy world in the best possible way. Discovering one '70s summer that we all shared a love of Jim Croce...his favorite that summer was "I've Got a Name"...and he played it in Aunt Shirley's living room, all of us sprawled on the floor or on the cozy couch. Running in the open fields, playing hide and seek, backyard softball...he was so patient with our complete lack of skill...quite the once a year adventure for suburban girls. Uncle Harold advising him to "take care of those girls" and he always did. It doesn't surprise me that he took care of an entire school. My deepest sympathy to Mike's wife and children and to Bonnie, Barb, Brian, and Scott and all those closest to him.
Linda Geier (Ingersoll), a Virginia cousin

To Mike's Family,
I got to know Mr. Mike when he worked at Marie Curie Institute. He was everything that his Tecler colleagues have said. Such a true gentleman.
May you find comfort in all your memories along with the kind words spoken on his behalf during this difficult time.

I worked with "Mr. Mike" at Tecler for many years. Everyday I got a warm hello and he always helped out without a question. The children loved talking to Mr. Mike and he was so excited for all of their success. He was missed when he retired and I am so saddened to hear of your loss. May your wonderful memories bring you comfort at this time.
