My sincere sympathies to my cousins Bob, Joan, Dick and all their families, many whom I have never met.
I was born in 1933 in Amsterdam, NY, Eleanore was already 14 years old and became my favorite babysitter.
We remained close all those many many years until I called her on May 25 this year to wish her a Happy Hebrew Birthday, 14 Sivan, she was 102 years old. She passed away 4 days later.
Eleanore's father Sam and my father George were partners in business, the S&G Cramer Co. Maybe that's why we were so close and had so much in common.
When Eleanore and Marcus married in 1940, I was 7 years old dressed in a tuxedo and part of the Bridal party at Shaker Ridge Country Club in Albany, NY.
Eleanore and Marcus were my lifelong heroes and we always stayed in touch. Eleanore was my information source for what was going on in the Cramer family.
She had a great life, I will miss her greatly. May she rest in peace forever.
