For Bud, Linda, Debbie, Glenn and Ann and Mark and Mary Beth and families,
My "dash" for Carol is a remembrance of her friendly and enthusiastic manner which I observed as her teacher when she was in high school. Lots of her peers gravitated toward her.
From all those who paid tribute to Carol and from my direct observation of how she cared for her sister Linda in time of need, it is clear that she was also well loved and truly appreciated and treasured by her many patients.
She had a lively, fun loving family and friends that surrounded her and will sustain each other with many shared memories of happier times. And, certainly for Carol comes the release from the many months of suffering that she endured. Rest in Peace, Carol.

To Carol’s family,
When I was 36 years old with three children I heard the word cancer , my husband had cancer. Upon going to the cancer center in Amsterdam where Carol was his nurse she made it such a better place there for him. She loved everyone that she touched! My heart goes out to all of you. The memories of Carol make me smile because that’s how she always was. We will forever hold her in our hearts. God bless Carol and her family.

Very sad to hear of Carol's passing. She was the nurse who took care of my Niece, Jennifer Pickering during Jen's fight with Diabetes. Carol took a liking to her and really inspired Jen to work hard and get better. I am sure there are several people she was inspirational to. Very sorry for your loss, but know she helped so many people during her lifetime, she is definitely an Angel looking down on her family.

To Carols family-
I was so sorry to hear of her passing. We went to school together and had many classes with each other. She was always smiling and a joy to be around. I can see her as a nurse, as she was such a compassionate person. May she rest in peace and I hope your memories of her bring you comfort. God Bless

Mark, Linda, Glenn & Ann,
From our family to yours, our most sincere condolences on the loss of Carol. Your sadness must be overwhelming, but may you be consoled by the memories of your time spent together.
I have some fantastic memories of the tremendous laughing and good times we had while hanging out at the house on Midline, as I'm sure you also have from many times throughout her life. I'm very happy Carol and her awesome smile are part of my life. May she rest in peace, until we see each other again.
God bless.
Jay Minch and family.

I am so, so sad for her loss...she definitely fought the good fight. I will never forget growing up next door...I loved spending time with her as a child and even when we got older. IMom has pictures of your parents and Linda and Carol at birthday parties growing up....before the boys came along. She was always smiling....always. My heart breaks for you all, but she is finally at peace and no longer suffering, she did more than her share of that...my thoughts and prayers are with you all...Chris Murray
