Zia Michelina was so loving and caring. It was so fun to be around her. I have many wonderful childhood memories eating her delicious turkey sandwiches and playing in her yard. I cherish our moments together during her trips to Italy and my holidays in the US. I will always remember her great sense of humor and the nickname she gave me. Her strength was an example for many generations. You will forever be missed zia. We love you ❤️

Maria, Vittoria and Anella, My heart goes out to you all for the sudden loss of your beloved Mother. I know that she had a wonderful life and cherished her daughters and especially Isabella. Dearest cousins,
The loss of our beloved zia Michelina has left us a broken heart and deep sorrow. As you all know, since we met her, our aunt was not simply an "aunt", but a big sister, a loving friend, or, as she was, a "mother". She was sensible, generous and funny: we must not forget her tender heart, especially when she welcomed us with her huge open arms. Long time spent together, in Italy and in the USA; long hours spent in malls, cafeterias and Burger King; days and nights talking, cooking and having fun. Who could forget the box of Dunkin'donuts or the packet of Oreos on the kitchen table every morning? And when we used to cook pasta while she was preparing her famous "Parmigiana alle melenzane" or the big turkey (as she called "patacco") she was making on Sunday or for a festivity?
We must stop..... we have so many memories.....Saratoga, Albany, The Shrine, Salerno, Pompei and on and on....
She will be always with us, in our minds and souls; so when we stop crying and the good byes we say, all that remains is the recollection of the single moments we shared with her and with you all.
LET'S NOT GRIEVE FOR LOOSING HER, LET'S BE THANKFUL FOR HAVING HER.
Even if far, we are all close.
