I am a daughter of Frank and Toni VanSkiver. Although I did not know John personally, I recall my parents talking about him and considered him a friend. I know they always looked forward to when your family would spend time at ‘camp’. We were very touched and honored to see the reference to VanSkiver’s Cabins in John’s tribute and want to thank you for sharing that. Although both our parents have passed on, it is comforting to know that others appreciated their love of camp also. We are so very sorry for your loss, but we hope that fun memories that we’re made on the Great Sacandaga Lake will help to ease your grief.
