Aunt Sis, I cherish the memories of my annual visits with you over the past few years and our trips to brunch and lunch at your favorite eateries. You were so proud of your family and shared pictures and stories of what everyone was doing, bringing me closer to my cousins and their families. I'll never forget the time you asked Mari to change your clock for DST...I thought you were amazing, 30 years my senior and I could barely remember to change my clocks. You were the last of the generation of my Gloversville aunts and uncles and I am sad and I will miss you. Thank you Mari for always taking me to visit.
Love,
Sue Cemente Reif

Johnny's wife as I knew her growing up at the store on Bleecker St. was how my Mom always would say to me when we were going there" you behave or Johnny's wife will have to speak to you" have to say one of the nicest ladies I ever had the pleasure of knowing. So sorry Steve to see this and our thoughts and prayers from our family to yours during this difficult time. Great Lady who will be missed by many

Sending our sincerest sympathy to all of the Clemente children and their families. I watched the Mass for your Mom and it was beautiful. Sorry we could not attend.....wonderful of Jamin to film it for us. It is so difficult to lose our Moms....they are the glue that holds us together. Stephen your eulogy was perfect....what an amazing Mom she was caring for 10 children for 32 years! I pray you find comfort in your many many wonderful memories. Hugs to you all. Grandma always loved the holidays and visits from her grandchildren and great grand children. She especially loved to see the kids dressed up for Halloween!

Grandma, I miss you so much. You defined the true meaning of family. One of my favorite memories was the birthday tablecloth and all the celebrations that took place in your home. I am thankful that my own children were able to meet such a loving, incredible, strong woman.

So many memories! Great (and loud) holiday meals at the kids table in her kitchen (I never really did escape the kids table). Her taking me to a real soda fountain! She and grandpa let me borrow their Oldsmobile for prom. And she always said I would make a great father and I absolutely love being a great husband and father. Thank you grandma!

Many of my favorite childhood memories are of my grandmother and the times I spent at my grandparent’s home and store. My grandmother was a devoted, loving, hardworking and honest woman who taught me so much about life. She truly loved her family and planted the seeds of the many things I love now; cooking, family/being a mom, gardening, church. She truly was my hero. I will miss her forever. ❤️
