Gram, I truly don’t know where to begin. I will be forever grateful for all of the memories- playing in your yard, the games (how many words can you make from Amsterdam, the number guessing game, tiddlywinks, pick up sticks), Sylvan Beach, Amsterdam Mall and my favorite NY Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, the stories you shared, your trip by train for my graduation and 18th birthday, and more recently each summer for the past 6 years. I will cherish the time you spent with Violet and that she got to experience what a wonderful great grandmother she had. I always admired your kindness, your faith, your strength, how you could remember everything and most of all your ability to see the best in everyone. You were one of my biggest supporters from appreciating my letters and Sunday phone calls to being a great mom (you and dad always told me that and it meant the world to me). You were such an inspiration to everyone in your life and I can only try to be as positive and caring as you always were. I will miss you every day until I see you again. I love you so much Gramma!!
To all of my NY family- I am so sorry that we can’t be there with you. We send you all our love, comfort and peace.

Gramma, where to begin... you were the most kindhearted, lovable, sweetest, selfless woman I will ever know. Your family’s happiness was your happiness. You prayed for everyone every night, and loved everyone with all that you had. I have so many fond memories of you from you eating your ‘warm ice cream’ because you didn’t like it cold, to playing solitaire in the back room, skee-ball at Fonda, Hot Dogs at Mike’s, tic-tac-toe on the kitchen table and sharing so many family stories! Your mind was a filing cabinet and you knew everyone’s story and all the dates things happened. I only wish to have half your grace as I get older. You were the anchor in our family and the center of our love. I pray your heavenly reunion is everything you wished for and more. Please kiss Grampa, Uncle Gary, Dad and all of our family for us. It’s not goodbye, but see you later. I love and miss you beyond comprehension.

Grandma, thank you for the kindness, and love through all the years! I loved every moment shared with you. I have so many memories from picking strawberries to the track, sylvan beach. Always loved the sleepovers and catching light bugs. You are the sweetest person I have ever known. I am one of the luckiest people to not only know you but call you grandma!!! I will be forever in your debt for you love and support. You have been a beacon in my life and that has really helped me. My love forevermore!!! Hugs to the family from me!!
