My deepest sympathies to the entire Morotta family for your great loss. Your mom was the ultimate neighborhood mom to all of us kids that grew up playing in the lot on the corner of Park and Eagle. If any of us got hurt, she was always the first one to tend to us. Hers and your dad’s advice and counsel were always some of the best to anyone that asked for it. I was so glad that I got to see her the last times that I was back in New York for my aunt Joyce’s services. I know that they were close friends for the longest. She will be greatly missed by all of us. May her soul rest in the grace and glory of God. Amen.

“Grandma, with the gift of years comes the treasure of knowing that there are many who love you dearly. The memories you’ve made with us will last forever. The tenderness you’ve shared with us will never fade. The most wonderful gift you could ever give is the special part of you that now lives in each of us. And the truth your love has taught us can only be strengthened by the gift of time... for where roots grow deep, memories grow forever.” - unknown

My heart goes out to all of you. Aunt Jane was one of a kind. Always kind, loving and easy to talk to. She was a wonderful mother who had the overwhelming task of raising 9 children on her own at a young age, She did an amazing job as is evident by her adult children who will cherish her forever. She will be forever missed.

My heart goes out to the Marotta “kids” who were cherished by this wonderful woman. Remembering when we lived on South Main on Mount Carmel Church property. Big Gene and the clan lived upstairs. We were like one family, little brothers playing together, Janey and Mom kibbutzim daily coffee and (shudder) smokes, Gene making root beer in the basement ... my brother and I send our love and tears. Wishing we could attend a service. Paula Isolda Knoll and David Isolda
