Mrs Putnam was a wonderful loving and caring person. I can still remember her preparing lunches for all the students at Bishop Burke...and adding a little extra to my tray... She kept us out of trouble and told us how to stay out of trouble with just a look that said I’m watching you(: We all shared in her generosity and strength. I’ll never forget her asking Doug and I what we put in the cookies(: Rest well Mrs Putnam your faith guided you well.

So very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She and your Dad had been in my life since I was a baby. I have so many fond memories of the Putnam family. Afterall, I grew up next to "Put" and Mary's backyard! I was hoping I could visit with you a bit, but, unfortunately I just couldn't make it. Thinking of you. God bless.

My husband and I meet Jane and Doug when we were all members of the Lads and Lassies Bowling League. We always looked forward to seeing them on Sunday nights and we became quite good friends. Jane was a great sport and I always looked forward to talking with her. She was all about family and very proud of her five children. My condolences to her family on her loss. I'm sure she will be terribly missed, bu I like to think of her as reunited with Doug.
