My first memories of Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Ralph are from 1969 when we moved to Gloversville in preparation for my Dad's departure for Viet Nam. Some family members are there by blood ties and others by choice. Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Ralph chose their roles by welcoming us with open arms at a time when my Mom, Sisters, and I needed it most.
I will always remember her laughter and generosity (and the magical concoctions from the bakery!).
Eric, Jeff, and Todd - I am proud to call you family. Your mom was one in a million.

I will truly miss Phyllis! I traveled many trips with her, of course had to wait for her as she was always late lol. I’ve never seen her without a kind word or huge smile on her face! What a delightful, caring person, who always wanted to help others. She was such a pleasure to see and have around and we all share so many memories of fun times at the Johnstown Senior Center. I originally met her when she ownded the bakery. Her with her viviacious personality always remined me of Doris Day , she was a delight, Later remet her a Johnstown Senior Center and she was still the same wonderful person. My prayers and thought are of you at this time of her passing. She earned her wings along time ago. I believe in angels on earth. God bless her.
