Therese was an inspiration for me. As a child I grew up with Michael, I watched her as a single mother raise an amazing son. A few years ago I started a divorce process and as any about to be single mother, I was scared. Then I remembered watching my friend Michaels mom raise him in a wheelchair. If she could do that I thought, then I can too! Therese was an amazing mother, and one of the kindest and most decent people any of us would ever have a chance to know. She will be so missed. My heart is broken for my childhood friend.
