Dear Lisa, Don, Chuckie, Rosemary and families,
We are so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was always a joy to see and visit with. He's with his sweetheart now, and I 'm sure your mom, Uncle Al and Aunt Rosie were waiting for him with smiles. They are all together now , and most likely have plans for an outing in Heaven. With deepest sympathy.
Love,
Karen & Bob Ameduri

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie Papa. Although I had not seen him in many years, I have fond memories of he and the Papa Family from the 1960's when I was employed at their glove factory by the Federal Government as a Quality Control Rep until I left to go to Law School. The last time I saw Charlie was at the funerals for his brothers, Hort and Fonz, during which he expressed his pride in his children and especially in the fact that his son was attending Union College. He and his family members often made me feel like a member thereof. They and their wives were amongst the hardest working people I have ever met and Charlie in particular was a gentle soul whom I truly liked. To you and yours my deepest sympathy --- George N. Curtis, Esq.

Charlie was one of the many local businessmen of his generation that I drew inspiration from during my early days as an aspiring entrepreneur. Though hardly knowing each other at the time, he was always generous to me with his time for conversation. Later in life when I’d run into him, we seemed to share an unspoken kinship, perhaps because of our shared experiences of operating simular businesses. And equally likely because he was genuinely a good guy. Thank you Charlie. Condolences to his family and friends.

To Uncle Charlie's family: We were sadden to read that Uncle Charlie passed away. He was a bright light in our community, and will always be remembered by his kindness and larger than life smile. Uncle Charlie is going to be greatly to be missed by all who knew him.
We are sure that he is in heaven with his beloved Bea and all those who have crossed over before him. I can just imagine the celebration at Heavens Gate as Bea, his family and friends were waiting his arrival. I can smell Bea's Sunday Sause cooking away along with her special treats that she has prepared for him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
RIP our dear friend, it has been an honor to have known you and call you "Uncle Charlie".

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very sweet and kind man. The last time I saw him (at a funeral) he wanted me to call him and come over the next time I was in town. Sadly, it never happen. RIP Charlie. You're now in Heaven with your brothers and sister.
