Obituary of Natalie Fedorov

Mrs. Natalie Fedorov, 96, former resident of Amsterdam, NY died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, September 8, 2018.  Born in St. Petersburg, Russia on October 1, 1921 she was the daughter of the late George and Novella Chirikov Retivov.

Natalie at the age of 14 moved to Prague and later immigrated to New York City in 1947 with her family.  On September 21, 1942 she was united in marriage to Vadim Fedorov. In 1956, she along with her young family moved to Amsterdam, NY.  Vadim worked for Mohasco Industries for many years before he retired.  For 20 years, she was the proprietor of the Classical Ballet School.  Following Vadim’s passing in 1999, she moved in 2003 to be closer to family in Virginia.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Alex Fedorov and his wife Karen and Michael Fedorov and his wife Kristina; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Natalie will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 1 o’clock at the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, New York.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband.  Memorial contributions in her memory may be made at www.npr.org to help support the Arts in your local area.
