I was sorry to learn of Madame Federov's passing. She was a very special, charming and elegant lady. I was very fortunate to have been one of her ballet students for nine years when I was growing up. She was an excellent teacher and I always looked forward to my weekly ballet classes. My condolences to her sons and their families.

It was our great pleasure to spend a few days with Madame Fedorov a good number of years ago when visiting Alex and Karen Fedorov. We were fascinated with her stories of her life in Russia and performing with the ballet. She was so charming, intelligent, funny and gracious. She made us a delicious lunch and set a lovely table. When we left, she gave us a cross stitched picture she had made and we still treasure it. We are sorry for the great loss her family and friends have suffered with her passing, but we know she lived an amazing and long, good life. She was surrounded by her loving and devoted family both in life and in her death. May God grant all of you comfort in knowing she loved you as you loved her and that her spirit will always dwell within each of you. Shalom, Cathy and Don Ransenberg
