My grandfather was always there for me growing up and well into adulthood. Whenever I needed assistance, he would be the first person to call and would drop whatever he was doing to come to where I was. My grandparents would 'spoil' me as a kid and helped ensure that I had a very happy childhood. We took vacations together and he was there for every major moment of my life and of my children's. He was more active in my children's lives, as a great-grandfather, than most grandparents are... doing everything for them that he once did for me. I am glad that I had a chance to properly say goodbye before he passed and that I could be one of the many people there for him in his last days. I hope that as my children get older, that I will be as active and helpful as he was. I love you grandpa.

Mrs. Sampone and Family,
What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. We feel so lucky that we got to know him over the past 5 years. It has been a pleasure to have such a beautiful family living right next to us. What can I say about the most kindest man I know! Grandpa Sampone you will truly be missed. I may have not been a biological granddaughter but you always treated me as one. From picking me up at the airports, cracking jokes, to giving me good advice you were always there.
