My sincere condolences to your family - I live farther down the road and many times when I was riding my horses, Rocky would take time to chat. We occasionally ran into each other during hunting season as well, when he was up back. He was always friendly & kind. Few people take the time to be so friendly nowadays. I am sure he will be greatly missed by many.
