Obituary of Shirley Edna Logan

Shirley Edna Logan, 83, formerly of Verbraska Avenue died Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born on July 28, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Mary Myers.

A lifelong area resident, Shirley was employed by Chase-Manhattan Bank, General Electric, Coleco, Nichols and Walmart.  She  loved her grandchildren, fresh flowers, listening to the Beatles, ice cream, hotdogs and going to her favorite restaurant La Cucina. She was a fan of baseball and enjoyed taking trips with her sisters to the casino to gamble and have fun.

Survivors include her son, John (Margarita) J. Logan III of North Hollywood, CA; her daughter Mary Ann Logan of Clifton Park, NY; grandchildren, Michael Logan Jr., Patrick J. Logan, Abby C. Logan, John J. Logan IV, Victoria A Richards; and her sister Irene Viola of Gloversville, NY.

She was preceded in death by parents; a son, Michael P. Logan; a granddaughter Jennifer Logan; and her sister Barbara Greco.

A Graveside Service of Remembrance will take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:30a.m. at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Steadwell Road, Amsterdam.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.  Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to The National Shrine of the North American Martyrs at Auriesville, 136 Shrine Rd, Fultonville, NY 12072.
