Obituary of Jacquelyn S. Landwehr
Jacquelyn S. Landwehr 78 passed away April 11, 2018 in Rochester, NY with her loving family by her side. She was from Fonda, NY and formerly of Newnan, GA, and Rochester, NY.
Born in Cooperstown, NY on November 30, 1939 she is the daughter of the late George K. and Madeleine (Rogers) Springer. She graduated from Fonda School, class of 1957.
She is survived by daughters Jessica (Kurtis) Andrews, Sarah (William) Killmeier, and Connie Andrews. Sons Lester (Janet) Andrews, Jr.; and Timothy (Lynn Sox) Andrews. A brother George “Phil” (Barb) Springer. 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews, friends, and coworkers here in NY and GA. Also by her precious feline Percy.
Besides her parents she is also predeceased by her son Christopher Andrews, a sister Karla Mount, and a grandson Jeremiah Andrews.
Jacquelyn was a quiet, faithful, prayer warrior, and friend to all. She enjoyed baking , cooking, family, and especially her loving grandchildren, and cat Percy. She loved to listen to music especially Oak Ridge Boys, and Alabama. She loved her work as a bus monitor for special needs children.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday April 19, 2018 at the Saving Grace Baptist Church, 2615 NY 30A, Fonda, NY 12068 from 10 to 12 noon where then a service will follow at 12 noon at church. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery following the services.
