Dear Joe, Jim, and families,
Though we have not seen one another for some time now I would be remiss if I did not share with you that I have the fondest memories of your dad and mom when we were growing up and shared time at Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Dick's when they lived in Amsterdam. We were all so very fortunate to have had parents and an aunt and uncle who got along so well that we kids got to know one another as playmates and in many respects as another set of cousins. Please accept my sincerest condolences and know that I especially am thankful for your dad's service to our Nation during a time when it meant the difference to our continuation as a country of free people.
