Dear Stan,
Saddened to read of Judy's passing and heartbroken for your loss. My deepest condolences. Our family always enjoyed Esther's violin lesson day so we could visit with Judy and you and Cali. Judy was well loved by many and we can only know a measure of your love for each other and the sorrow of your heart. One day you will see her again and your joy will be made full again, forever. God speed your recovery and hold you close always. Love, Cathy

Uncle Stan, Mark and I send love and our deepest sympathy. Aunt Judy is inextricably entwined with my memories of you: elegant, refined, passionate about music and travel, and always attuned to family and friends! Bet she gets the heavenly choirs shaped up in no time! Hugs, Beth McMillan

Mr. McMillan,
I am so sorry that I won't be able to attend the services for Mrs. McMillan tomorrow. I very rarely get sick, but the doctor says I have bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection, and I don't want to spread to any one in Canajoharie. I have wonderful memories of my years in the band and orchestra program at Canajoharie. I wanted to be a music teacher from a very young age and you and Mrs. Mac gave me opportunities that made that possible. Who would have thought that I could take private viola lessons at Eastman? Mrs. McMillan gave me private piano lessons in high school and I'm sure I didn't pay for them. You invited me into your home (I remember your cat), you let me try any instrument you had available at the school and encouraged me to follow my dreams.
With 5 children in our family, I can't believe I got to audition at Potsdam and actually got to attend. I was very lucky to have two talented musicians as my teachers. Our orchestra and band were outstanding and I enjoyed playing in both.
I'm sure you have been missing her for a long time, but Mrs. McMillan is in a wonderful place now! Jeanette

Uncle Stan, we're so sorry to hear about Judy's passing, especially as you're recovering from your fall.
I have a fond memory, of sitting with Judy, and reading Dr Seuss's "Pale Green Pants with Nobody Inside Them" to her when I was in grade 1 or 2.

Mr. McMillan and family,
So saddened to read of the passing of Mrs. McMillan. We had the pleasure of meeting you and Judith while you both taught in the Ilion Central School District, while we were active members of the ICS Music Boosters. All three of our daughters were involved in the music program.
We have one grand daughter trumpet student who graduated from Canjo High and has finished college, and her sister is currently a seventh grade trumpet student.
After attending numerous concerts at ICS and Canajoharie Central over the years, we can attest that part of Judith's legacy may very well be that these districts are two of the very few left in the valley that still offer a string instrument / orchestra program.
We can only believe that you and Judith helped set the groundwork for their continuation.

Deepest condolences to you and your extended family. God Bless !
