Obituary of William S. Tarnowski

William S. Tarnowski, 78, of Amsterdam NY, has gone to his eternal rest on Monday June 13th, 2016. Born on April 29th, 1938 in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Edna Alaska and Stanley Tarnowski. William graduated from the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School class of 1956. He was a hardworking man who earned his retirement in the late 80's from the former Bartyzel Inc. in Amsterdam. William was a kind hearted person who had a laid back personality. He was a generous individual and had a deep love and appreciation for horses. William loved to eat and try new foods. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family. William is survived by his sister Lillian Barone; His nieces, Serena Barone and Theresa (Alex) Barone-Lopez; His grand nieces and nephews, Tia Orlosky, Jacob Orlosky, Zoe Orlosky, Victoria Barone-Lopez, Anthony Barone-Lopez, and Juliana Barone-Lopez, His aunt and uncle Theresa Kerbelis and Valentine Kerbelis; as well as many other cousins. William is predeceased by his parents Edna and Stanley Tarnowski. A graveside service will be held for William on Monday June 20th, 2016 at 10am at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Steadwell Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010, with Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis presiding.
