Obituary of Leta May Weber

Miss Leta May Weber, 54, of Fort Plain died peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 following a long illness. Born in Little Falls, NY on August 7, 1961 she was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools. She was employed by Liberty Enterprises for several years. Leta will be remembered for her zest for life and her love of family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents, Linda and Lloyd Rush; siblings, Donna Stoddard, Deborah Monk, Patrick Rush and Sheldon Rush; her companion Jan Cornish and her son Gabriel Larvie; a special brother in law, James Evans; and several nieces nephews and cousins. Leta was predeceased by her sister, Bobbie Jo Rush. A Celebration of Life and Going Home Ceremony will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 2 o'clock at Wintergreen Park, Canajoharie with Pastor Jay Francis presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and to wear your favorite pair of flip-flops in Leta's memory.
